The method of electro dip coating EDC (KTL) is an entirely completed technological process for covering the surface of metal with a thin, single-layer corrosion-resistant paint coat.
Using of KTL technology surface of geometrically complicated elements including cavities and sharp angles is evenly coated.
The coating thickness may be in the range of 15 - 45 microns.
The capacity of the line is 300 m2 /h.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The method of electro dip coating EDC (KTL) is widely used in the fields where high anti-corrosion resistance of metal articles or elements is required:
• Industry of automobiles, ships or plains;
• Industry of home appliances and electrical engineering;
• Industry of agricultural equipment;
• Furniture industry;
• Munitions industry.
The EDC (KTL) coating can be used as an epoxy background for liquid or dry powder coating.
The EDC (KTL) technology permits to minimize the paint layer unevenness originating when using a dry powder or “wet” paint method.
The EDC (KTL) coating provides a long-lasting protection against environmental temperature, humidity, and salt effect.
The EDC (KTL) coating is an environmentally friendly method since the quantity of volatile organic compounds is < 1%.
